Hurricane Dolly Hits South Padre Island
Reporter Ron Whitlock was on South Padre Island during Hurricane Dolly at the Bahia Mar Resort which was the worst hit facility on the Island. This program recaps with exclusive footage the events that took place in and around the hotel as the strongest part of the eye wall bombarded the resort.

Janine Reyes Rides Out Hurricane Dolly on South Padre Island
Action 4 News reporter Janine Reyes and photographer Sonny Garcia had to spend the night in their news jeep parked under a hotel awning while Hurricane Dolly raged around them. Rain continued in the morning and they were able to put together a news report that aired live on Channel 4.

Storm Surge from Hurricane Dolly slams the coast of South Padre Island, Tx
Public Beach Access #6, the northern most access on South Padre Island washed out and inaccessible. Hurricane Dolly was still just a category 1 and several miles off shore at this time.
